While there are no homes to purchase in Fort Knox directly, there are many homes just outside the base. Radcliff is adjacent to Fort Knox and has direct access to I65 via Joe Prather Highway. It is also exactly halfway between Fort Knox and Elizabethtown. Vine Grove and Rineyville are growing communities featuring new construction.
Hodgenville homes are unique for today’s tech savvy or entrepreneur. If you are lucky to have a job where you work at home and a daily commute is not a concern, Hodgenville and LaRue county properties might just be for you. You can get a lot of home for your money in these areas. The Lincoln’s must have had the inside scoop when they settled and gave birth to Abe.
Leitchfield is a nice community nestled between Nolin Lake and Rough River Lake. Outdoors enthusiasts love living in Leitchfield and the surrounding communities of Clarkson, Cub Run, McDaniels, and Wax just to name a few. Lakefront properties in the area are generally available and at prices that are very affordable.
Radcliff and Rineyville are two communities who are very close to Fort Knox. Homes in Radcliff are more established, while Rineyville is experiencing new growth and construction. Radcliff is sandwiched between Elizabethtown and Fort Knox on the very busy Dixie Highway (31W) corridor. Rineyville is nestled in the country, but with new road construction, has very quick access to our local amenities.
Vine Grove is another city with homes close to Fort Knox. In addition to its proximity to Fort Knox, Vine Grove also has great access to Elizabethtown using the new connecting road. Once a small rural community, Vine Grove is quickly becoming a very nice hometown. It is quiet, but still close to shopping, food, and other activities.
